Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. The singer has recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis to promote a Christmas ad by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some attention. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding the piano in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not as a job or a hobby, but as an opportunity to grow. For this reason she started writing her own new compositions. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in her influences, along with an affinity for Bjork's style. Responding to her mother's suggestions that people ought not to aim to be famous through the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them as well as their contribution to society. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they could impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora never dreamed of being a famous singer. The singer claims she is a fan of creating music. According to her, music is the most efficient way to express anything.
